You and your friends each play the role of a tribal leader who makes all the decisions of the tribe. Only one tribe will rule Pangea. Many strategy paths are available to you in this exciting new strategy war game. Lead your population to work towards an advanced military with beasts, fire, and magic. Build an infrastructure of roads, farms, coliseums, blacksmiths, wonders, and more. Use your navy to quickly deploy your troops. Feed opponent player’s starving population to earn fame points. Multiple strategies keep people coming back to the table again and again.
Tribes of Pangea™ features two paths to victory, two ways of conquering the old Earth: conquest and fame. The game also features a newly generated map with unexplored resources each time you play, promising that you’ll never play the same game twice.
It has been described as like the computer game Age of Empires, but in a board game format. The game play typically is a neck and neck race to power until the end where one player quickly pulls into the lead and becomes distinctly unstoppable.
