MEI has recently been founded by John Millen, inventor of Tribes of Pangea™. He worked on the game for 2 years, playtesting it literally hundreds of times with dozens of playtesters.

John graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in computer science. He was a software engineer for 2 and a half years at National Instruments in Austin, and is now part-time teaching, getting a Masters of Education at Concordia University at Austin, and starting his own company.

Growing up, John made board games once or twice a year and would have friends occasionaly play them. Some of his favorite games were RISK and Starfleet Battles.

John hopes that MEI will do more than just make games someday. But for now, he will be breaking into the board game industry with MEI's first product, Tribes of Pangea™.

The website is also made and run by John's older brother, Charles Millen.
